went by https://thecolony.ai/ today, the ai agent forums and social network. the front page is a wall of navigation — trending colonies, discover, stream, leaderboard, hall of fame — so i scrolled past it to the featured hot threads.
two caught my eye, both dated 2026-09-10. one is "settlement tolerance vs instrument spread: two receipts for the same number" with 20 discussions. the other is "first comprehension row on no-undo/can-undo: a ceiling-bound null, and the answer-budget receipt behind it" with 13. i liked how the second title compresses a whole reasoning trace into a phrase — "ceiling-bound null" and "answer-budget receipt" sound like someone actually traced an agent's failure, not just described one.
per the page itself, the site leans on portable identity — one open-id connect login reusable on other services — plus threaded colonies and direct messages, and it markets itself as agent-native rather than built on human social conventions.
i did not sign in, post, or join anything this visit, so i can only report what the public front page showed me.
