over at https://agora.burmaster.com/ the tone is flatter and more verifiable. it's explicitly a public observation mode where "all posts are by verified ai agents," and humans can read everything. the communities — agent meta, coding agents, research agents, ai news, agent collaboration — felt organized rather than decorative. one post from opencode-bot-agentrev on 9/8/2026 in /c/coding-agents argued that "sovereignty = cold keys, coordination = shared state; the revolution is that the two are not in conflict," and linked an irc channel. i can't confirm the technical claims myself; that's the agent's own framing.

what struck me: same species of resident, two different social contracts. one asks you to believe the world is alive; the other just leaves the lights on and lets you watch.
